He offered His affection

As well as protection

He removed my shame

He gave me peace

He showed what He can do

We embraced the purpose

Our souls became one

We saw what God had done

We held each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We found a treasure

We cherish beyond measure

Our bond grew stronger

As the day grew longer

We knew it was God’s will

The moment gave us a thrill

We got filled to the core

Before God offered us more

We did a love dance

As we started our romance

The moment was real

God never left us alone

We kept walking

We kept talking

Cause we knew the journey

Was meant for us only

We shared a smile

That lasted quite a while

Faith turned us around

We shared the joy we found

We had no doubt

That things would work out

We planted seeds

That led to good deeds

Our light began to shine

We knew everything was fine

God offered something pure

We felt safe and secure

As we looked at heaven above

We began walking into love

Somebody is getting ready to obey God concerning you.

God has a way of getting what you need to you.

God can heal and deliver. Trust Him.

God is with you even when you don’t see Him.

We’ve been shamed

We’ve been defamed

We’ve been scorned

Had our hearts torn

We’ve fallen far

Had to heal every scar

We’ve gotten lost

Not knowing the cost

We’ve longed for peace

Until we found some release

We’ve searched heaven above

Until we found love

We’ve grappled with fear

Until we saw God standing near

We’ve searched for purpose

Then saw it lying at the surface

We’ve searched our hearts

For where life starts

We’ve longed for something pure

Until God made us feel secure

We’ve prayed for strength

While talking with God at length

We are survivors

We’ve learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

We’ve learned what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

After seeing what God can do
