There is foundation in abundance

God fills us to the core

We accept God’s way

We count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

Our souls rest in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

As we hold God’s hand

We learn as we go

We share what we know

We remove all doubt

That God will work things out

We ignore our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Our daily journey

Is meant for us only

And we celebrate life and love

Cause they come from heaven above

Where gratitude lies

Our eyes can see

What’s truly meant to be

We find our purpose

Lying at the surface

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We get stronger

As our days get longer

We build new dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We hang on God’s word

Cause that’s all we’ve heard

We learn our name

We let go of the shame

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

We learn to smile

Even laugh a little while

And we see what God can do

Where gratitude lies

God is saying to you today, “Trust me. What’s about to happen won’t have anything to do with your power, your works, or your effort. It will be my power, my favor, and my purpose.”

Gratitude is the foundation of abundance. Start and end your day with a grateful heart. Focus on what you have, not what you lack.
