We face a new day

As God shows us the way

We pray for strength

As we talk with Him at length

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Learning what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

We grapple with doubt

Before God works things out

We carry life lessons

That become heartfelt confessions

We build dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We cherish the peace

Our hearts won’t release

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We change our view

When we see what God can do

We give as good as we get

With very little regret

God fills every soul

With what makes it whole

We open our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We learn to smile

Even laugh a little while

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

We learn our name

As we let go of our shame

We learn how to live

How to give

And how to love

Just like heaven above

We embrace what’s for us

We see the God we trust

We pass every test

Just like all the rest

We find something pure

What makes us feel secure

Without reeling

We start healing

Sometimes we cry

Then wonder why

Sometimes we feel weak

Until we hear God speak

Sometimes we learn

Then see the stripes we’ll earn

Sometimes we feel the love

Coming from heaven above

Sometimes we fall and rise again

Then faith helps us win

Sometimes we find a home

Where our souls can roam

Sometimes we hold each other close

Cause bonding matters most

Sometimes we learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

Sometimes we learn what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

Sometimes we learn to smile

Even laugh a little while

Sometimes we look ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Sometimes we rejoice

When we hear God’s voice

Sometimes we do a victory dance

When we get a chance

Sometimes we change our view

After we see what God can do

Sometimes we hear the word

That deserves to be heard

Sometimes we embrace the journey

Meant for us only

Sometimes we make clear

What we hold dear

Sometimes our souls run free

Then we see what’s meant to be

Sometimes we remove all doubt

That God will work things out

Sometimes we see what’s by design

Why everything is fine

Sometimes we embrace a new day

As we accept God’s way

Sometimes

God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

Give it to God. He knows what to do.

God knows what you need, and He will provide.

God never changes. He’s always the same.

We face every day

While accepting God’s way

We become one

When we see what needs to be done

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

God reveals our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

We learn as we go

We share what we know

We stay on the path God set

With very little regret

Our journey makes us stronger

As the day gets longer

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

We see what’s in stone

Why God never leaves us alone

Naysayers we ignore

As faith fills us to the core

We work with our hands

Right where love stands

God offers a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We remove all doubt

That God will work things out

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We remember who we are

As we reach for a star

We keep going

All while knowing

What we’ve done is real

Too difficult to conceal

We follow the light

That shines day and night

Cause the journey is meant for us

In God we trust

We prepare to do it again

With faith we’ll win

Cause God know we’re

Working

The day we met

Is one I’ll never forget

We held each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We shared the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

Every touch was real

Too difficult to conceal

We learned from our past

As we made the moment last

We knew God planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

Our hearts ran free

We knew it was meant to be

Our bond got stronger

As the days got longer

Our souls became one

We saw what God had done

We held hands

Right where love stands

We looked in each other’s eyes

And found a wonderful surprise

Then did our love dance

When we got a chance

The moment we met

Is one I don’t regret

God set things in stone

He never left us alone

We shared a smile

That lasted quite a while

We hung on God’s word

Cause that’s all we’ve heard

We learned to let go

Of what we used to know

Then we found something pure

We felt safe and secure

We traveled far

As we reached for a star

The journey was by design

So, everything is fine

We found a home

Where our souls can roam

And God got the glory

For our love story

God answers prayers.

Nothing can stop you. Nothing can break you. Keep pushing forward because you are about to win.
