In The Morning

In the morning

We’ll face a new day

We’ll embrace God’s way

He’ll set the path

Without unleashing His wrath

We’ll set out on a journey

Meant just for us only

We’ll look all around

Share the joy we found

We’ll build new dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We’ll learn to let go

Of things we used to know

Faith will set our hearts free

We’ll see what’s meant to be

We’ll remove all doubt

That God will work things out

We’ll see what’s designed for us

In God we’ll trust

We’ll see what’s real

Too difficult to conceal

We’ll find a place

Filled with mercy and grace

In the morning

We’ll say prayer

Thanking God for being there

We’ll hold our faith close

Cause faith matters most

We’ll reach our peak

When we hear God speak

We’ll see what we hold

As our story is told

We’ll do our victory dance

Whenever we get a chance

God will fill every soul

Faith will make life whole

We’ll rest in a home

Where our souls can roam

We’ll find something pure

We’ll feel safe and secure

We’ll follow the light

That shines day and night

And God will reveal His plan

As soon as He can

Yesterday

Yesterday

Another blessing was granted

More seeds were planted

We had another talk with God

As we offered a wink and nod

We got much stronger

As the day got longer

We found a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We stood firm and tall

Knowing faith meant all

We changed our view

After seeing what God can do

We built new dreams

That made us burst at the seams

We lifted one voice

As we began to rejoice

We looked straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing our purpose

Would rise to the surface

And we held each other close

Cause bonding matters most

Yesterday

We saw what’s by design

We know everything is fine

We learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

We learned how to live

We learned how to give

Faith turned us around

Put us on solid ground

We hung on an encouraging word

That we’ve always heard

We learned the lessons

That have become heartfelt confessions

We passed another test

Just like all the rest

God made us see

What’s truly meant to be

We learned our name

We let go of our shame

God lifted us up

Filled our cup

And sent us on our way

As we prepared for another day
