Starting every day
By looking God’s way
Wondering if we’ll see
What’s truly meant to be
Looking for peace as we go
Sharing what we know
Wondering what life will give
Seeing how we should live
Finally resting in a place
Filled with mercy and grace
Spreading the love
Coming from heaven above
Holding what we treasure
Beyond all measure
Learning to stand
As we hold God’s hand
Feeling a pride
We simply cannot hide
Holding on to principle
As we see the miracle
Learning to smile
Even laugh a little while
Hearing a word
That’s the best we’ve heard
Feeling God’s power
Hour after hour
Planting the seeds
That lead to good deeds
Knowing what to ignore
God filling us to the core
Seeing what God can do
Knowing He brought us through
Turning ourselves around
Settling on solid ground
Lifting one voice
As we begin to rejoice
Seeing what’s real
Things the heart can’t conceal
Feeling God’s affection
Having His protection
Letting go of doubt
As God works things out
Looking into our hearts
Seeing where love starts
Reaching our peak
Whenever we hear God speak
Then standing on principle
As we see the miracle
