Let go and let God.

When the elders speak

Wisdom comes from their core

Before they offer us more

We hear about their days

Along with God’s loving ways

We hear how they gain strength

By talking with God at length

The journey they’ve traveled

Why their souls haven’t unraveled

We watch them hold their faith close

Cause faith matters most

We see what they gain

Through heartache and pain

We hear them speak with pride

Their gratitude they don’t hide

They speak of their dreams

Until they burst at the seams

They speak of the encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

They speak truth to power

Hour after hour

They speak of their victory

And what’s meant to be

They reveal what’s in stone

Their wisdom never leaves us alone

When the elders speak

They talk about past storms

How they broke norms

The naysayers they face

As they travel from place to place

They speak of sitting still

As they accept God’s will

They talk about perfect peace

Their hearts won’t release

They talk about seeing unconditional love

While looking at heaven above

They speak of the journey

Meant just for them only

They speak of what they treasure

Beyond all measure

They speak of the blessings granted

All the seeds they’ve planted

How they start over again

How faith helps them win

How words uplift the next generation

Without hesitation

When the elders speak

Where love lies

Two become one

When they see what God has done

A new day begins

We see how faith wins

Divine purpose appears

As God removes our fears

We embrace the journey

Meant just for us only

We find perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

Faith fills our core

Before God offers us more

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We find a home

Where our souls can roam

We fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

We run our race

In a safe and secure place

And life gets better

When we embrace it to the letter

Where love lies

God sets things in stone

He never leaves us alone

We open our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We reach our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

We face our naysayers

While saying our prayers

We share a word

That deserves to be heard

We survive every storm

We break every norm

We pass every test

Just like all the rest

We gain strength

By talking with God at length

We learn to smile

Even laugh a little while

We see the steps we take

All the memories we’ll make

We cherish the blessings granted

We water the seeds we planted

Where love lies

Trust God. It’s gonna work.

Your prayer is not being ignored. God heard you. Trust His timing.

God will never fail you.

God is going to bless you abundantly. Stay tuned.

God is real. Trust Him.

Looking at lovely days

Embracing God’s loving ways

Gaining some strength

While talking with Him at length

Seeing divine purpose appear

As God removes every fear

Embracing the journey

Meant just for us only

Learning to stand

While holding God’s hand

Finding a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Breaking into a smile

Laughing a little while

Doing a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

Falling then rising again

Knowing faith helped us win

Traveling very far

As God heals every scar

Finding perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

Seeing nothing but love

Come from heaven above

Holding each other close

Cause bonding matters most

Reaching our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

Seeing what we hold

As our story is told

Enjoying moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

Sharing the encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

Surviving every storm

Breaking every norm

Running our race

In a safe and secure place

God filling our core

Before He offers us more

Seeing the steps we take

All the memories we’ll make

Finding our voice

Before we begin to rejoice

Building new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

Seeing all our principles

Are miracles

We share all our days

Along with God’s loving ways

Every moment is rare

We know God is there

We build our bond

From here and beyond

This journey is for us

In God we trust

We gain strength

As we talk with God at length

What we feel is real

Something we can’t conceal

Our love is set in stone

God never leaves us alone

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We rest at home

Where our souls can roam

We do a love dance

To celebrate our romance

As we hold each other close

We see what matters most

Every tender kiss

Is hard to resist

Every tender touch

Means so much

The moments we share are precious

We travel far

As God heals every scar

We relish perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

Two become one

When we see what God has done

We fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

Our faith makes us see

That we’re meant to be

We run our race

In a safe and secure place

We build new dreams

Strange though it seems

We feel nothing but love

While looking at heaven above

God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We start all over again

Faith helps us win

Every moment we share is precious
