I start each day with a prayer

I see signs that God is there

He sends me on my way

He blesses me every day

I take life lessons with me

I’m the best I can be

I accept my flowers

As I count the hours

I’m filled to the core

And I give God more

I continue to grow

As I share what I know

I take nothing for granted

I water the seeds I planted

No matter where I stand

Faith makes my life grand

It gives me purpose

I see it at the surface

Every step I take

Is a memory I can make

I’m on a journey

Ordained by God only

It’s a beautiful thing

And this is my awakening
