I awaken each morning

Heart all all aglow

As I go over everything I know

I count my blessings one by one

And I don’t stop until I’m done

Each and every journey

Is ordained by God only

It isn’t hard to sing His praises

It doesn’t come in phases

I know what’s meant to be

With everything in me

I continue my travels near and far

Faith helps me reach for a star

I ride with the wind everywhere

Cause I know my God is there

I ignore naysayers

Instead I say my prayers

They make me feel secure

Of that I’m sure

I know what’s  meant to be
