It should come as no surprise

But I’m on the rise

I’ve started a new chapter

One filled with joy and laughter

I’ve been blessed beyond measure

Getting to know God is a pleasure

Fear has gone away

I can face another day

Whenever I’m weak

I listen to God speak

This is my story

I bask in His glory

I’m on the rise

That much I know

I’ve already started to grow

I’ve let go of the past

I make every moment last

God’s amazing grace

Has taken me to a new place

Things aren’t the same

The world knows my name

This is my journey

It was ordained by God only

God planted the seed

That’s a blessing indeed
