I’ve given up old things

I see the joy that brings

I don’t feel the same

I’ve gotten a new name

I look in the mirror

And it all becomes clearer

Where I stand

With God in my hand

I’ve changed

My life’s been rearranged

I’m in a different place

Due to God’s guidance and grace

As I go through the day

I see things another way

It’s abundantly clear

God is always near

I continue to grow

As I share what I know

It’s my purpose

I see it coming to the surface
