Another day another chapter

One filled with joy and laughter

Another lesson learned

Another stripe earned

Another ordained journey

Meant for us only

Another doubt removed

God given purpose proved

Renewed strength gained

Despite heartache and pain

Feeling God’s affection

Having His protection

Seeing what’s in stone

Realizing we’re not alone

Finally letting go

Of what we used to know

Resting in a place

Filled with God’s grace

Following His word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

Changing our view

When we see what God can do

Hearing our story

For all God’s glory

Learning to stand

As we hold God’s hand

Our hearts running free

Knowing what’s meant to be

Finding a home

Where our souls can roam

Knowing it’s by design

And everything is fine

Learning to smile

Even laugh a little while

God removing every cloud

The moment making us proud

Finding solid ground

Sharing the joy we found

Seeing every step we take

Is a memory we’ll make

Learning what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

Finding something pure

Feeling safe and secure

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

As we keep going

All while knowing

God is with us

In Him we trust
