I wake up with the sun on my face

I thank God for His amazing grace

I prepare for the journey

Meant just for me only

All my dreams suddenly appear

As God removes my fear

I gain strength

By talking with God at length

I do a victory dance

To celebrate my second chance

I see what’s in stone

I enjoy a few moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

God offers me something pure

He makes me feel secure

I share the joy I found

It’s going to be a lovely day

I open my eyes

To a wonderful surprise

I stop and smell the roses

Then strike a few poses

I water the seeds I planted

I feel God’s power

An answered prayer

Shows God is there
