We thought was for us only

We ran from place to place

Until God offered mercy and grace

We learned to smile

We laughed a little while

We found new dreams

Strange as it seems

We kept going

All while knowing

An answered prayer

Shows God is there

We felt God’s power

Hour after hour

We searched high and low

For what would help us grow

Until God turned us around

Put us on solid ground

We found our guiding light

One we follow day and night

We changed our view

When we saw what God can do

God filled our core

Before offering us more
