When I woke up today

I praised God in every way

I felt brand new

When I saw what God can do

I embarked on a journey

Meant just for me only

The moment was real

Something I couldn’t conceal

I saw my purpose appear

God removed all my fear

I did a victory dance

To celebrate my second chance

I broke into a smile

I laughed a little while

I built new dreams

Strange as it seems

God filled my space

With mercy and grace

Faith made me see

What’s meant to be

I looked at heaven above

Saw nothing but love

I found a home

Where my soul can roam

God lifted me up

He filled my cup

I started a new chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

I saw what was in stone

I realized I’m not alone

I enjoyed moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

I faced my naysayers

As I said my prayers

Knowing God set my path

Without unleashing His wrath

Faith filled my core

Before God offered me more

I found something pure

God made me feel secure

I received a word

That deserves to be heard

I kept going

All while knowing

Every moment is mine

So everything is fine

I embraced the blessings granted

Watered all the seeds I planted

Cause I’m overjoyed
