I see the dawn of a new day

I praise God in every way

I start the ordained journey

Meant just for me only

I marvel at what I find

God gives me peace of mind

I build new dreams

Until I burst at the seams

I fall then rise again

Cause faith helps me win

I face naysayers

As I say my prayers

While staying on the path God set

With very little regret

I stand on solid ground

I share the joy I found

I rest at home

Where my soul can roam

I open my eyes

To a wonderful surprise

God fights the enemy

He reveals what’s meant to be

I break into a smile

Even laugh a little while

I move without a doubt

That God will work things out

I run my race

In a safe and secure place

I see what’s by design

So everything is fine

I share the word

That deserves to be heard

I see something real

Something I can’t conceal

I survive every storm

I break every norm

I cherish the blessings granted

I water the seeds I planted

I relish perfect peace

My heart won’t release

I feel nothing but love

As I look at heaven above

I prepare for tomorrow

Without an ounce of sorrow

It’s not odd

I’ve been touched by God
