In the middle of the night

Silent prayers go up

Before God fills every cup

Many blessings are granted

As we water the seeds we planted

God heals every soul

He makes life whole

Another ordained journey

Is planned for us only

We gain some strength

As we talk with God at length

We reflect on what we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

We do a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

God fills our core

Before He offers us more

We receive a new name

While God removes our shame

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

We rest in a home

Where every soul can roam

We fill another chapter

With joy and laughter

In the middle of the night

We watch God move

Knowing He has nothing to prove

We find something pure

Faith makes us feel secure

We hold each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We let go of our fear

As God holds us near

We open our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We get through the storm

We break every norm

We learn to smile

We even laugh a little while

We stay on the path God set

With very little regret

We face tomorrow

As we let go of our sorrow

Cause God is with us

In Him we trust
