I remember the day

You came my way

We formed a bond

From here and beyond

Every moment was real

Something we couldn’t conceal

God removed our fear

As we held each other near

We saw nothing but love

As we looked at heaven above

We did a dance

To celebrate our romance

We cherished the blessing granted

As we watered the seeds we planted

Faith filled our core

Before God offered us more

We bonded in a home

Where our souls could roam

God gave us something pure

Faith made us feel secure

We faced our naysayers

As we said our prayers

Knowing God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We built new dreams

That made us burst at the seams

Love lifted us up

Then filled our cup

Our journey filled us with pleasure

Beyond all measure

We saw what was in stone

God never left us alone

We filled a new chapter

With joy and laughter

We stood on the wings of love

As we looked at heaven above

We moved without a doubt

That things would work out

Cause faith made us see

That we’re meant to be

Every tender kiss

Was hard to resist

Every tender touch

Meant so much

We saw what was for us

The God we trust

We started anew

When we saw what God can do
