We sit and talk to God

Every moment is far from odd

We discuss divine purpose

As it rises to the surface

How we gain strength

As we talk at length

How faith makes us see

What’s meant to be

We relish perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

We embrace the journey ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We see what we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

We fall then rise again

Cause with faith we win

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We look in our hearts

Then see where love starts

We watch God move

He has nothing to prove

He lifts us up

He fills every cup

He heals every soul

He makes us whole

We face our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Cause God is with us

In Him we trust

We see what’s in stone

God never leaves us alone

We feel brand new

When we see what God can do

We continue to talk

We go for a walk

God helps us stand

With one touch of His hand

God removes every fear

As He holds us near

We build new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

We know where we belong

We see right and wrong

We stand on principles

During prayers and miracles
