When you came

I saw what God can do

The moment was brand new

I felt the love

That comes from heaven above

Faith healed my soul

Your love made me whole

I found perfect peace

My heart wouldn’t release

I looked in your eyes

Then saw a wonderful surprise

Every tender kiss

Was hard to resist

Every tender touch

Meant so much

The moment made me see

That we’re meant to be

I filled a new chapter

With joy and laughter

I found a home

Where my soul could roam

A blessing was granted

I’ll water the seeds I planted

God removed my fear

When you held me near

When you came

I found a treasure

I’ll cherish beyond measure

You turned me around

Put me on solid ground

I found something real

My feelings I couldn’t conceal

I found something pure

I felt safe and secure

I held your hand

Right where you stand

I saw your heart

Right where you start

A silent prayer

Showed God was there

You became the light

I follow day and night

Every single place

Was filled with mercy and grace

I felt God’s power

Hour after hour

I saw what was in stone

Love wouldn’t leave me alone

I had no doubt

That things would work out
