Heavenly Father

Thank you for all our days

All your loving ways

Being the guiding light

That shines day and night

Revealing our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

Ordaining the journey

Meant just for us only

Offering us something real

Things we can’t conceal

Offering something pure

Making us feel secure

Giving us a home

Where our souls can roam

Giving us strength

As we talk at length

Giving us peace

Our hearts won’t release

Healing every soul

Making us whole

Filling every space

With mercy and grace

Turning us around

Putting us on solid ground

Heavenly Father

Thank you for the love

That comes from heaven above

Setting our path

Without unleashing your wrath

Lifting us up

Filling every cup

Setting things in stone

Never leaving us alone

Teaching us to stand

While we hold your hand

Changing our view

Helping us start anew

Removing every cloud

Moments that make us proud

Making us smile

Even laugh a little while

Giving us a voice

Before we rejoice

Every victory

Things that are meant to be

Filling our hearts

Right where love starts

Opening our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

The encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

Removing all doubt

That things will work out

Helping us start again

Knowing with faith we’ll win
