Heavenly Father

Thank you for all my days

Along with your loving ways

You found me when I was lost

And didn’t know the cost

You turned me around

Put my feet on solid ground

You gave me a home

Where my soul could roam

So many times I ignored you

Now I know what you can do

You reveal my purpose

Before it rises to the surface

You give me perfect peace

My heart won’t release

You ordain the journey

Meant just for me only

You fill my core

Before you offer me more

You fill my space

With mercy and grace

You fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

You give me pleasure

Beyond all measure

Heavenly Father

Thank you for being the light

I follow day and night

You provide life lessons

That become heartfelt confessions

You give me strength

Whenever we talk at length

You help me survive

You help me thrive

You remove every cloud

Every moment makes me proud

You deliver a word

That deserves to be heard

You reveal what’s in stone

You never leave me alone

You walk with me

You reveal what’s meant to be

You lift me up

You fill my cup

You carry me through

And I thank you

Heavenly Father
