Love is

Finding a way

To share every day

Holding someone close

Cause bonding matters most

Sharing the dreams

That make you burst at the seams

Cherishing what you hold

As your story is told

Standing on solid ground

Sharing the joy you found

Seeing a surprise

Every time you open your eyes

Seeing an answered prayer

Shows God is there

Feeling God’s power

Hour after hour

Sharing a kiss

That’s hard to resist

Sharing a touch

That means so much

Looking into your heart

Then seeing where to start

Moving without fear

As God holds you near

Love is

Sharing a home

Where your soul can roam

Moving without a doubt

That things will work out

Seeing what’s in stone

Realizing you’re not alone

Doing a victory dance

To celebrate your second chance

God lifting you up

Then filling your cup

Faith filling your core

Before God offers you more

Learning to stand

As you hold God’s hand

Finding your voice

Before you rejoice

Resting in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Filling every chapter

With joy and laughter

Receiving a name

God removing your shame

Building as you go

Sharing what you know

Relishing perfect peace

Your heart won’t release

Two becoming one

After seeing what God has done

Starting over again

Knowing with faith you’ll win
