The word fills every day

In a very loving way

It acts as a guide

Our pride we can’t hide

It gives us strength

As we talk at length

It gives us perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

It reveals what’s in stone

It never leaves us alone

It makes us see

What’s truly meant to be

It unveils all the love

That resides in heaven above

It fills every chapter

With joy and laughter

It gives us solid ground

Along with the joy we found

It fills our core

Before God offers us more

It provides life lessons

That become heartfelt confessions

It fills every space

With mercy and grace

The word is real

Something we can’t conceal

It offers something pure

It makes us feel secure

It is a blessing granted

We’ll water the seeds we planted

It fills our core

Before God offers us more

It gives us pleasure

Beyond all measure

It lifts us up

It fills our cup

It helps us stand

As we hold God’s hand

It teaches us how to live

It teaches us how to give

It sets our path

Without unleashing God’s wrath

It changes our view

When we see what God can do

It helps us start again

Knowing with faith we’ll win
