I get through every day

By praising God along the way

I embrace the journey ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing God will set my path

Without unleashing His wrath

I see what’s in stone

I know I’m not alone

I sit perfectly still

As I accept God’s will

He works consistently

I know what’s meant to be

I plant seeds

That lead to good deeds

I run my race

In a safe and secure place

I enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

I fall then rise again

Knowing with faith I’ll win

I move without fear

As God holds me near

I move without a doubt

That God will work things out

I stay focused on the light

That shines day and night

God lifts me up

He fills my cup

I face my naysayers

As I say my prayers

Knowing God will reveal my purpose

Before it rises to the surface

I see life lessons learned

All the stripes I’ve earned

I see what I’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

I look in my heart

Then see where I should start

I find my voice

As I begin to rejoice

I feel nothing but love

As I look at heaven above

I find something pure

I feel safe and secure

I don’t feel odd

I’m waiting on God
