Rebirth

We embrace a new day

As faith shows us the way

We see an answered prayer

Shows God is there

We gain strength

By talking with Him at length

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

We build new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

We learn from the past

We make precious moments last

We stay on solid ground

We share the joy we found

Our naysayers we ignore

As God fills our core

We run our race

In a safe and secure place

We open our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We survive every storm

We break every norm

We receive a new name

As God removes our shame

We see lessons learned

All the stripes we’ve earned

We continue to travel

Knowing our hearts won’t unravel

We see what we’ll gain

We feel God’s power

With joy and laughter
