We think of the day

Love came our way

We remember the moments we shared

All the dreams we dared

We recall the hand

That taught us to stand

As we held each other close

Like bonding mattered most

We remember the kiss

We couldn’t resist

We remember the touch

That meant so much

We learned what’s for us

We saw the God we trust

We embraced the journey

Meant just for us only

We found a home

Where our souls can roam

We moved without fear

Cause God almighty was near

We saw our purpose

Rise to the surface

We hung on the word

That deserves to be heard

We watched God move

Like He had nothing to prove

We learned faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

We survived every storm

We broke every norm

We learned to smile

We laughed a little while

We found solid ground

We shared the joy we found

We wrote another chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

We knew without a doubt

That God would work things out

What we found was real

Too difficult to conceal

God planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

We began again

Knowing with faith we’d win

And we don’t pretend
