Heaven

It’s a beautiful place

Full of mercy and grace

When we look up

It fills every cup

It gives us strength

As we talk with God at length

It gives us peace

Our hearts won’t release

It ordains every journey

Meant just for us only

It reveals something real

Too difficult to conceal

It offers us moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

It fills every soul

It makes life whole

It contains an encouraging word

One that should be heard

It removes all our fears

It wipes away our tears

It makes us smile

Even laugh a little while

It sets things in stone

It never leaves us alone

It fills us to the core

Before God offers us more

It sets our path

Without unleashing God’s wrath

It plants the seeds

That lead to good deeds

It’s given us a name

We feel no shame

We know what’s for us

In God we trust

We do a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

It fills every chapter

With joy and laughter

It keeps us going

All while knowing

God has a plan

He’ll reveal when He can

We remember who we are

As we reach for a star

We don’t pretend

Cause love will never end

We live in heaven

Only Love

We came together as one

We know what God has done

The moment was a blessing

We cherish without stressing

We have something real

Too difficult to conceal

We hold each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We do a dance

To celebrate our romance

An answered prayer

Shows God almighty is there

We see what’s in stone

God never leaves us alone

We rest in a home

Where our souls can roam

We build our dreams

Until we burst at the seams

Our hearts run free

We know we’re meant to be

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

We stand on solid ground

We share the joy we found

We look at heaven above

As we accept God’s loving ways

Our love travels far

As it heals every scar

We fulfill the purpose

We see lying at the surface

God’s encouraging word

Is all we’ve heard

We know what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

Our moments of pleasure

We cherish beyond measure

Every moment is pure

We feel safe and secure

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread
