We talk with God day and night

Cause He’s our guiding light

We pursue our conversation

Without much hesitation

Cause it sets things in stone

God never leaves us alone

We watch our purpose appear

As God removes our fear

We gain strength

As we talk with God at length

We change our view

Cause love is on the menu

We prepare for another journey

Meant just for us only

Faith fills the home

Where our souls can roam

We learn what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

We face our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Knowing God is the key

To what’s meant to be

We hear an encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

We do a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

We stay close to God

With a wink and nod

Praying plants a seed

To a blessing indeed

We share a smile

Then laugh a little while

We continue our talk

Strange though it may seem
