The Room

We walked into the room

We saw no signs of gloom

God gave us peace

We just couldn’t release

Blessings suddenly appeared

We let go of what we feared

Faith filled our souls

As we reached our goals

And God made us see

What’s truly meant to be

We walked into the room

It was filled with dreams

That made us burst at the seams

Mysteries began to unfold

As our story was told

God gave us a gift

He gave us a lift

We found love

As sent by heaven above

We found a light

To follow day and night

And there’s no more gloom

In the room

Taken

Tears are wiped away

It’s a brand new day

Fear doesn’t exist

Passion and purpose persist

Dreams begin to emerge

The soul begins to serge

Whenever we fall

God answers our call

We looked around

We found solid ground

As we sit perfectly still

We accept God’s will

A new light guides

God never hides

We feel His power

Hour after hour

As we begin to grow

We share what we know

We go through the fire

To obtain what we desire

We clearly see

What’s meant to be

Life gets better

We embrace it to the letter

We lift one voice

As we rejoice

For life and strife

And the road we’ve taken
