In Full Bloom

As I sit in my room

I’m in full bloom

I’m embarking on a new journey

Ordained by God only

Things aren’t the same

The world knows my name

I’ve learned as I go

I’ll share what I know

I’m out of my comfort zone

Thanks to a man on a throne

And I have peace

Peace I’ll never release

I’m in full bloom

As I sit in my room

I grow stronger

As the journey gets longer

I have no fear

Cause my God is near

Despite the heartache and pain

I see what I can gain

I have something pure

I feel safe and secure

And everything is grand

Right where I stand

I’m in full bloom

As I sit in my room

I feel tender love

As sent from heaven above

It gives me courage and strength

As I talk with God at length

I smile wide

As I take things in stride

Nothing will hinder me

I’ll be all I can be

And I’ll remain in full bloom

Time for leaves to fall

Time to answer God’s call

The tide has turned

Time to see what we’ve learned

Life has been rearranged

Our view has changed

God is the reason

For the new season

As the journey begins

Faith always wins

As we see the new day

Let’s praise God in every way

It’s plain to see

The change was meant to be

Blessings are in store

They fill the soul to the core

So let’s keep going

While knowing

God put us on solid ground

Look at what we’ve found

Every step we take

Is a memory we can make

And we’ll have a lot to remember

The Ladder

The ladder represents a journey

Ordained by God only

The journey is long

But faith will keep us strong

The ladder is the purpose

We see rising to the surface

It’s what we can get

With very little regret

Lessons we learn will last

In spite of our past

The ladder makes clear

That our God is near

Despite heartache and pain

We know what we’ll gain

Every step we take

Is a memory we can make

God will lead the way

He watches us every day

He’ll fill us to the core

Then give us more

Only His grace and guidance matter

As we climb the ladder

The Praying Room

The praying room

Is where the spirit can soar

Then go on to do more

It contains guidance and grace

More than any other place

It’s filled with God’s presence

It has a special essence

It’s filled with purity

And life long security

It offers strength

To be used at length

If offers blessings

Without stressing

It offers solid ground

No matter who’s around

Faith is the key

To being all we can be

The prayer room makes clear

There’s nothing to fear

If offers a journey

Ordained by God only

And we can succeed

As we get what we need
