Thinking of you

What we used to do

The feeling is strong

It remains all day long

I remember when we kissed

No gestures were missed

I think of moments we shard

All the dreams we dared

The journey we traveled

Why we never unraveled

I think of every prayer

Why God was always there

How we held each other close

Cause our bond mattered most

The moment we could see

We were meant to be

The beautiful resting place

Filled with God’s grace

Why we learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

The encouraging word

We’ve always heard

How faith was the guide

That never left our side

What we knew was real

Why it was difficult to conceal

I think of our beating hearts

Where love usually starts

Our solid ground

The purpose we found

What we crave

All the love God gave

The life we led

Why we let go of dread

How we let go of shame

When we learned our name

How our love grew

From what we knew

Why every day

Was filled with God’s way

The love dance

We did by chance

There’s nothing missing

I’m reminiscing

No matter what you face in life don’t let go of God’s hand.

God is going to allow you to recover from everything you lost, plus gain some extra blessings you didn’t qualify for.

Plenty of good can happen for you. Keep pushing, keep grinding, keep praising never give up.

Put God first and He will give you the desires of your heart.

We’ve come out of the shadows

It’s a brand new day

God certainly made a way

Our hearts and souls are free

We see what’s meant to be

Our eyes are open wide

Faith is on our side

We see what God can do

We’ve changed our point of view

We see what we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

God’s word stays with us

Cause in Him we trust

We reflect on times we fell

The work God did well

How our dreams

Made us burst at the seams

The affection is real

Too difficult to conceal

And we’re looking ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We’ve come out of the shadows

This much we know

Faith makes our hearts show

God’s tender loving care

Follows us everywhere

We do a victory dance

Whenever we get a chance

We ignore our naysayers

Whenever we say our prayers

Life is much better

As we embrace it to the letter

We’re on the right path

We never suffer God’s wrath

Faith is where our strength lies

We see it when we open our eyes

We embrace special things

And all the joy life brings

Cause we’re out of the shadows

The road home

Contains a prayer

A sign showing God is there

It has lessons

As well as confessions

It reveals our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

It keeps us strong

Whether we’re right or wrong

It has an encouraging word

Unlike anything we’ve ever heard

It unveils a surprise

The moment we open our eyes

It offers a guiding light

That shines day and night

It fills the heart with dreams

Until it burst at the seams

It removes all doubt

That God will work things out

And it keeps us close

Like we matter most

The road home

Offers a place

Filled with mercy and grace

It fills the soul

With what makes it whole

It removes shame

As the world learns our name

It helps us reach our peak

As we listen to God speak

It’s part of a plan

God will reveal when He can

It reveals what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave us alone

It removes our fear

As we hold our faith near

It shows what’s made for us

The God we trust

The love we feel

What’s too difficult to conceal

And the blessings granted

The seeds planted

As we look at the road home

Keep praying. What’s for you will come at God’s appointed time.

God is the arm that will hold you at your weakest, the eye that will see you at your darkest, and the heart that will love you at your worst.

Struggle is temporary. Sacrifices are like investments. Give up the short-term comfort for the long-term win. Be patient and stay focused.
