We’ve awakened to a new day
Somehow God made a way
We carry several lessons with us
Cause in God we trust
We feel God’s hand
Right where we stand
His love is real
Much too difficult to conceal
Our hearts run free
We know it’s meant to be
We rest in a place
Filled with mercy and grace
We’ve begun life anew
We’ve changed our point of view
God’s word is the guiding light
We follow day and night
We hold our heads high
No need to ask why
We see what’s in stone
Why God won’t leave us alone
Faith has made clear
We have nothing to fear
We’ve gained a newfound strength
Since talking with God at length
He holds us close
Cause we matter most
This moment is everything
We see the joy it will bring
Our souls now dance
Because of our second chance
We give as good as we get
With very little regret
Our eyes look ahead
Without an ounce of dread
We see which way to go
We share what we know
As we sit perfectly still
We accept God’s will
We’ll continue to win
Cause we’re born again
