God is everything.

Nothing’s too difficult for God.

God is good all the time.

The staircase sits in a room

It fills every day

It shows us the way

It is the journey we take

All the memories we make

The purpose we fulfill

The result of God’s will

It’s what keeps us strong

Whether we’re right or wrong

It represents a prayer

It shows God is there

It reveals what’s true

It shows what God can do

It offers us direction

As well as protection

It helps us stand

As we hold God’s hand

It works as a guide

It’s something we can’t hide

It reveals God’s word

Which is all we’ve heard

The staircase is real

Too difficult to conceal

It removes all doubt

That God will work things out

It gives us strength

As we talk to God at length

It removes every cloud

It makes us sing out loud

It sets things in stone

It reminds us we’re not alone

It helps us stand

As we hold God’s hand

It leads us to a place

Filled with God’s grace

It plants seeds

To very good deeds

It can take us far

Without leaving a scar

It presents a road

How God lifts the heavy load

It’s the dream we chase

The staircase

Faith

Things we can see

What’s truly meant to be

Knowing God is always there

Feeling His tender loving care

Cherishing every single day

Accepting God’s loving way

Moving without fear

Knowing our purpose is clear

Doing a victory dance

Whenever we get a chance

Ignoring our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Resting in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Lifting one voice

As we begin to rejoice

Gaining a renewed strength

Whenever we talk with God at length

Faith

Standing on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

Remembering our name

Letting go of shame

Finding something pure

Feeling safe and secure

Removing all doubt

That God will work things out

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing God will share the journey

Meant for us only

Seeing the treasure we hold

Knowing our story will be told

Learning to smile

Even laugh a little while

Knowing God works behind the scenes

Knowing what every blessing means

Landing on solid ground

Sharing the joy we’ve found

Knowing what’s true

Seeing what God can do

Learning to live

Learning to give

Learning to love

Just like heaven above Faith

Never make permanent decisions based on temporary emotions.

God is everything.

Remember. Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.

God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

We hold each other close

Cause love matters most

We look in each other’s eyes

Then find a wonderful surprise

We share our dreams

Until we burst at the seams

As our love begins to grow

We share what we know

We see the journey

Meant for us only

God planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

What we have is real

Too difficult to conceal

We found a treasure

Beyond all measure

Every kiss fills us to the core

Before we go back for more

Without a doubt

God worked things out

We have some direction

And so much affection

We’re now in a place

Filled with God’s grace

We look at each other and smile

Even laugh a little while

We’ve learned from the past

We make every moment last

We make crystal clear

What we hold dear

We know what’s true

We know how we made it through

Things get better

Cause we embrace life to the letter

We hang on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

We remember who we are

As we reach for a star

We’ve traveled together

Even during stormy weather

We have some direction

And so much affection
