Don’t expect God to fail you, because He won’t.

He fills our days

With His loving ways

He ordains every journey

Meant for us only

He spreads the love

Coming from heaven above

He helps us stand

As we hold His hand

He fills every soul

With what makes it whole

He provides a place

Filled with mercy and grace

He can turn a frown

Upside down

He fills us to the core

Before giving us more

He is the light

We follow day and night

He holds us close

Cause we matter most

He gives us strength

As we talk at length

He sets things in stone

He never leaves us alone

His encouraging word

Is all we’ve heard

He has turned us around

Put us on solid ground

He makes us see

What’s truly meant to be

We have His affection

As well as protection

We feel His power

Hour after hour

He offers something pure

He makes us feel secure

We lift one voice

As we begin to rejoice

Cause He’s always there

With tender loving care

It means more than some know

We’ll let it show

As we tell a story

About God’s glory

From out of the shadows

Our spirit will rise

It will come as no surprise

God will lead a journey

Meant for us only

Our souls will reveal

What our hearts can’t conceal

We’ll share the love

Coming from heaven above

We’ll learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

Faith will take us to a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We’ll see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave us alone

Our journey will take us far

Faith will show who we are

God will reveal His plan

As soon as He can

And life will get better

As we embrace it to the letter

From out of the shadows

We will emerge

Our God given purpose

Will rise to the surface

Faith will keep us strong

We’ll see where we belong

We’ll ignore our naysayers

As we say our prayers

We’ll reflect on lessons learned

See the stripes we’ve earned

We’ll go through the fire

To obtain what we desire

Cause God will be with us

In Him we’ll trust

We’ll start another chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

We’ll reach our peak

When we hear God speak

We’ll cherish every day

In our own way

When we emerge

From out of the shadows

Trust in God.

When you replace “why it’s happening to me” with “What is God trying to show me”, everything changes.

When we embrace every journey

Meant for us only

We start life anew

We see what God can do

Faith fills the soul

With what makes it whole

We gain a renewed strength

As we talk at length

We see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave us alone

We learn from the past

We make precious moments last

We see the guiding light

That shines day and night

Faith removes our fear

It wipes every tear

We turn ourselves around

We settle on solid ground

We learn valuable lessons

That become heartfelt confessions

We find our purpose

Lying at the surface

We search our hearts

We see where love starts

We see that faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

We gather as one

Until the day is done

We reach our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

We learn to smile

Even laugh a little while

We plant seeds

That become good deeds

We feel the love

That comes from heaven above

We see what’s real

What the heart can’t conceal

We keep going

All while knowing

In God we trust

Cause He’s always with us

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the love

That comes from heaven above

The eternal peace

The heart won’t release

The way you fill the soul

Then make life whole

The renewed strength we gain

During heartache and pain

Every ordained journey

Meant for us only

Lifting us up

Filling every cup

The purpose we see

What’s truly meant to be

Turning us around

Putting us on solid ground

Your guiding hand

Which holds us where we stand

And making crystal clear

What you hold dear

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for all you do

Changing our point of view

Filling every day

In a very loving way

Every lesson we’ve learned

All the stripes we’ve earned

The moments we share

All the dreams we dare

The beautiful place

Filled with your amazing grace

The encouraging word

We’ve always heard

Your undying affection

Your unrelenting protection

The faith we hold

The story being told

Removing every fear

Wiping every tear

Showing us who we are

As we reach for a star

Setting things in stone

And never leaving us alone

Your love means all

You answer every call

Thank you for the joy you bring

Thank you for everything

Heavenly Father

Count your blessings, then tell God thank you.

Give all your burdens to God, and He will give you strength.

God fills every day

He makes life whole

He’s so amazing

God delivers a word

That’s all we’ve heard

He is the guiding light

We see what He can do

As He carries us through

He lifts us up

He fills every cup

He provides a place

He can take a frown

Turn it upside down

He is a treasure

Beyond all measure

He offers affection

As well as direction

It’s crystal clear

That He holds us dear

He works on the heart

Where love should start

He’s so amazing
