I sat perfectly still

As I accepted God’s will

And I embraced something new

As I changed my point of view

It was a beautiful place

I smelled some roses

Then struck a few poses

I found a purpose

Lying at the surface

God was so kind

He gave me peace of mind

I simply let go

Of what I used to know

I learned lessons

That turned into confessions

And I enjoy the place

Called the throne of grace
