Years of devotion

Appear without a notion

Showing signs of love

Like heaven above

It provides solid ground

No matter who’s around

It offers a place

Filled with God’s grace

It can free the soul

It can make life whole

And it can make you see

What’s meant to be

Devotion can heal

It can also reveal

It let’s go of the past

It makes moments last

It can remove fear

It shows God is near

It offers a purpose

Rising to the surface

It offers a smile

That will last awhile

And out of every notion

Comes devotion

God has plans for you.

You are about to begin the greatest season of your life.

These arms long to hold you close

Cause you matter the most

These arms long to feel your heartbeat

Cause that’s where our souls meet

These arms are filled with love

Just like heaven above

These arms will travel with you

They will carry you through

These arms are the place

Where you’ll find guidance and grace

These arms are the solid ground

You see when you look around

These arms will show

Exactly what they know

These arms will heal

As well as reveal

These arms will carry you far

As you reach for a star

These arms will be there

Cause they care

These arms will fill you to the core

Then offer you more

These arms plants seeds

That lead to good deeds

They will protect you from what harms

These arms

The way to love

Is heaven above

The way to the heart

Is a brand new start

The way to make life whole

Is touching the soul

The way to peace

Is never letting joy cease

The way to a smile

Is talking with God awhile

The way to something new

Is your point of view

The way through every journey

Is your desire only

The way to hold hands

Is right where love stands

The way to be free

Is seeing what’s meant to be

The way to grow

Is sharing what you know

The way to purpose

Is lying at the surface

The way to the light

Is found day and night

We see it every day

The way

God is fighting battles you’re unaware of.

We go from day to day

With God leading the way

No one loves us more

Faith fills us to the core

We fall then rise again

We know where to begin

Some count us out

But God removes all doubt

We know where we stand

With one touch of His hand

We stand on principles

And thank God for miracles

We go on a journey

Meant for us only

The road is long

But prayer keeps us strong

We learn as we go

We share what we know

Some things are hard to take

But a better way God will make

We face naysayers

As we say our prayers

We stumble here and there

But God is always there

We stand on principles

And thank God for miracles

Somebody came my way

Somebody showed me a brighter day

Somebody showed me something real

The moment showed what I couldn’t conceal

Somebody showed me love

It felt like heaven above

Somebody gave me strength

When we talked at length

Somebody made me see

What’s truly meant to be

Somebody stole my heart

Gave me a brand new start

Somebody let me know

It’s okay to grow

Somebody showed me a place

Filled with guidance and grace

Somebody showed me something true

God knows what he brought me through

Somebody gave me a light

To follow day and night

Somebody filled me to the core

Then gave me more

Somebody
