We face every day

As God makes a way

We stumble here and there

But God offers tender loving care

We’ve been scorned

Had our hearts torn

We’ve been shamed

We’ve been defamed

We’ve gotten turned around

Until God put us on solid ground

We’ve traveled far

While healing every scar

We’ve learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

We’ve grappled with doubt

Until God worked things out

We’ve grappled with fear

Until we saw God standing near

We’ve changed our view

After seeing what God can do

We’ve finally found peace

Our hearts can’t release

Our hearts run free

We know what’s meant to be

We know where to begin

We know faith helps us win

Prayer filled every soul

It made us whole

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

We hang on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

We’ve learned every journey
