The moment we met
Is one I don’t regret
We held hands
Right where love stands
As we shared the dreams
That make us burst at the seams
We knew the moment was real
Something we couldn’t conceal
Faith led the way
To that very special day
That’s what we thought of
As we looked at heaven above
Every tender kiss
Was hard to resist
Every tender touch
Meant so much
We discussed the journey
Meant for us only
How our souls ran free
What was meant to be
And shared a smile
That lasted quite a while
The moment we met
Is one I’ll never forget
We said a silent prayer
Cause God almighty was there
We became one
Until everything was done
It was God’s plan
He does what He can
Love started the heartbeat
Where faith and God meet
We traveled far
While reaching for a star
We felt love’s power
Hour after hour
It was imbedded in us
In God we trust
We looked in each other’s eyes
And there was no surprise
That we’d keep going
All while knowing
Our bond would last forever
Even in stormy weather
We looked ahead
Without an ounce of dread
And saw what’s by design
So everything is fine
