Got the Monday blues

Need something I can use

It’s time to start over

Without a four-leaf clover

Still learning to stand

As I hold God’s hand

God is real. Trust Him.

Been filled with fear

Not knowing what was near

Been filled with doubt

Wondered how I’d work things out

Been searching for peace

My heart won’t release

Wondering what was in stone

Been searching for a place

To run my race

Been looking for a light

To follow day and night

I was always stressed

I’ve gone from broken to blessed

I’ve longed for love

From heaven above

I’ve gotten lost

Didn’t know at what cost

I’ve faced naysayers

While saying my prayers

I’ve searched for purpose

While looking at the surface

I’ve longed for affection

As well as protection

I’ve wondered if every journey

Was meant for me only

I’ve fallen far

Tried to heal every scar

I’ve tried to lift my voice

Cause I had no choice

I’ve longed for strength

While talking with God at length

I’ve been turned around

While searching for solid ground

I’ve traveled every road

With a heavy load

I was stressed

Seven days of love

From heaven above

Seven days of peace

The heart can’t release

Seven days of prayer

God sitting right there

Seven days to see

What’s meant to be

Seven days with no doubt

God will work things out

Seven days purpose

Rises to the surface

Seven days in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Seven days to smile

Even laugh a little while

Seven days of blessings

Moments we’re not stressing

Seven days to dream

Strange though it may seem
