The Way

We start a new chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

God sees us through

No matter what we do

Every moment is golden

To Him we are beholden

We share a warm embrace

That we carry from place to place

Time seems to stand still

We know it’s God’s will

We stand on solid ground

We share the joy we found

We give one another a smile

That last quite a while

Love takes us far

Without leaving a scar

And every day

We see the way

We hear a voice

That makes us rejoice

We water seeds

That lead to good deeds

Everything is set in stone

God never leaves us alone

Love is the power

We feel hour after hour

We hold God’s hand

Right where we stand

Love is the key

To what’s meant to be

We follow our guiding light

Both day and night

Winter, spring, summer fall

God answers every call

Our feelings are real

Too difficult to conceal

Every step we take

Is a memory we’ll make

We carry our blessings

Without a lot of stressing

We find something pure

It makes us feel secure

And every day

We find the way

When We Meet

When we meet

Our hearts beat as one

God’s will is done

We share a tender kiss

Too hard to resist

We hold each other close

Cause our love matters most

We embark on a journey

Meant for two only

The world can see

We’re truly meant to be

We stand on a love

Sent by heaven above

And we remember who we are

As we reach for a star

When we meet

God sees our hearts

Right where love starts

We look each other in the eyes

And it’s no surprise

We’re filled to the core

Then God offers us more

We take the time

To remember our prime

Everything is set in stone

God never leaves us alone

We get stronger

As our days get longer

We find a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We find something to hold

Our story is finally told

We find our purpose

Lying at the surface

We learn to care

We see God standing there

We go through the fire

To obtain what we desire

We ignore our naysayers

As we say our prayers

And our God we greet

When we meet

Together

We share every day

In our own special way

We hold each other close

Cause our bond matters most

God shares a journey

Meant for us only

He planted the seed

That’s a blessing indeed

Every moment is golden

To Him we are beholden

We look each other in the eyes

And it’s no surprise

That we’re filled to the core

Then God offers us more

We sit perfectly still

As we accept His will

And in stormy weather

We will be together

We found a treasure

Beyond all measure

We’ve let go of fear

Cause God almighty is near

Faith is in our walk

Faith is in our talk

It guides and protects us

In God we trust

We share a smile

That last quite a while

It travels far

As we reach for a star

We find our purpose

Lying at the surface

It makes us see

We were meant to be

The naysayers fall

On God we call

We just keep going

While knowing

In stormy weather

We will be together

Million Times

A million times we share a love

That feels like heaven above

A million times we share a touch

That means so much

A million times a day

We accept God’s way

A million times we rejoice

When we hear God’s voice

A million times we hold hands

Right where love stands

A million times we fall

Yet God answers every call

A million times we see

What’s truly meant to be

A million times we forget

With very little regret

A million times we let go

Of things we used to know

A million times we learn

And many stripes we earn

A million times we reveal

What our hearts can’t conceal

A million times we travel far

As we reach for a star

A million times we dance

When we get a chance

A million times we stay close

To what matters most

A million times we fight

For our guiding light

A million times we acknowledge God

With a wink and nod

A million times
