Love Light

I see your love light

It shines both day and night

It follows me everywhere

It tells me you’re always there

It gives me something pure

It makes me feel secure

It provides a tender touch

I need so much

It removes fear and doubt

I know what the light is about

It takes me far

Without leaving a scar

It fills my very soul

It makes me whole

It makes very clear

You hold me dear

It keeps me strong

Whether I’m right or wrong

It provides a way

To live every single day

It shows a journey

Meant for me only

I see your love light

It’s a beautiful sight

It offers solid ground

Which I’m glad I found

It comes from heaven above

It fits like a hand and glove

It makes me see

We’re truly meant to be

It is the purpose

I see lying at the surface

It offers something real

Too difficult to conceal

It’s all I know

It helps me grow

And day and night

I see your love light

Finally

We’ve finally found love

From heaven above

We’ve finally found the peace

We simply can’t release

We’ve finally found our purpose

Rising to the surface

We’ve finally found the way

To live every single day

We’ve finally learned lessons

That turn into confessions

We’ve finally begun to rejoice

After hearing God’s voice

We’ve finally looked at our hearts

To see where everything starts

We’ve finally started a journey

Meant for us only

We’ve finally let go

Of things we used to know

We’ve finally found a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We can finally see

What’s truly meant to be

We’ve finally found a treasure

Beyond all measure

We’re finally able to bond

From here and beyond

We’re finally getting far

After reaching for a star

We’re finally learning to live

We’re finally learning to give

We’re finally letting go of fear

Cause God almighty is near

We’re finally beginning to grow

By sharing what we know

We’ve finally found solid ground

We’re finally sharing the joy we found

We’re finally holding each other close

Like love matters most

We’re finally listening to a word

That’s the best we’ve heard

Finally

A Letter To God

Heavenly Father,

You are everything

We love the joy you bring

You are the light

We follow day and night

You keep us close

Cause we matter most

You share the love

Sent from heaven above

The seeds are planted

We take nothing for granted

You are a sight to behold

You’re a story untold

You give us strength

When we talk at length

You lead every journey

Meant for us only

Nothing can compare

To the bond we share

You have a touch

That means so much

It stays with us

In you we trust

You fill us to the core

Then give us more

You’re one of a kind

You give us peace of mind

We see what we gain

When you ease our pain

We have no fear

Whenever you’re near

The sound of your voice

Makes us rejoice

Our hearts are with you

You carry us through

With every measure

To know you is a pleasure

Life gets better

We love you to the letter

And without a worry

We’ll always give you the glory

Simple Things

Seeing another day

Changing in every way

Holding a hand

Right where you stand

Lifting your voice

As you begin to rejoice

Sharing a bond

From here and beyond

Planting the seeds

That lead to blessings indeed

Finding a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Fulfilling the God given purpose

Lying at the surface

Letting go of fear

Cause God almighty is near

Ignoring naysayers

As you say your prayers

Living in a peace

You just can’t release

Following a guiding light

Both day and night

Starting a new chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

Embracing a journey

Meant for you only

Removing all doubt

That God will work things out

Taking the time

To remember your prime

Seeing the steps you take

All the memories you make

The ways you grow

Sharing what you know

Seeing the plan

God reveals when He can

Gaining some strength

When talking with God at length

Seeing what you hold

Until your story is told

Getting filled to the core

With love and more

And seeing the joy life brings

Are all simple things
