First Time

The first time we made love

It felt like heaven above

We held each other close

Cause love mattered most

We didn’t even pretend

The moment wouldn’t end

God planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

Every tender touch

Meant so much

Every tender kiss

Put us in a state of bliss

It was a journey

Meant for us only

The first time we made love

Felt like morning dew

God brought us through

Every brand new day

Was cherished in every way

We began to smile

The smile lasted awhile

Our hearts beat as one

Love was second to none

We found solid ground

We shared the joy we found

It was plain to see

We were meant to be

We found a special place

Filled with grace

The love was strong

We know where we belong

We took our time

While still in our prime

God was there

With tender loving care

We opened our hearts

Right where love starts

What we began to feel

We couldn’t conceal

We got a chance

To do a lover’s dance

We couldn’t stand still

It was God’s will

And we looked at heaven above

The first time we made love

Aglow

Our hearts are algow

Cause one thing we know

We’re blessed beyond measure

Life is a treasure

We cherish every day

In a very special way

We stay close to God

With a wink and nod

We hold hands

Right where love stands

We’re on a journey

Meant for us only

Life just gets better

We love to the letter

What we feel is real

Too difficult to conceal

And we learn to live

As we learn to give

Our souls are aglow

We rise and fall again

But we learn to win

We face our naysayers

As we say our prayers

God provides protection

And plenty of affection

We’ve found a place

Filled with guidance and grace

God is by our side

Our unbridled joy we can’t hide

It fills us to the core

As God gives us more

And that’s how we know

Our souls are aglow

Food For Thought

God is saying to you today, “A new door is about to open for you. The challenges you are currently facing are about to come to an end. You are about to get a sudden rush of blessings and opportunities that will clear the way for you. Be patient. Trust my timing. It’s about to happen.”

Perfect Peace

Every brand-new day

Offers challenges in a way

We fall and rise again

But we find ways to win

We face our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Faith fills us to the core

Then God offers us more

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

We land on solid ground

Then share the joy we found

We lift one voice

As we begin to rejoice

Every moment is for us

In God we trust

Nothing is the same

The world knows our name

We finally found a place

Filled with guidance and grace

We hold each other close

Cause our bond matters most

We travel far

As we reach for a star

We make very clear

What we hold dear

We see what we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

We’ll see a plan

God will reveal when He can

The thought makes us smile

The smile last awhile

It lifts us up

It fills our cup

We learn to live

We learn to give

We look at heaven above

As we learn to love

We take a stand

As we hold God’s hand

Joy we release

Cause we’re in perfect peace

God Is

God is love

Sent from heaven above

God is the peace

We know we won’t release

God is the strength

We gain when we talk at length

God is a journey

Meant for us only

God is the way

To live every day

God is the place

Where we find grace

God is the power

We feel hour after hour

God is the solid ground

That turns us around

God is real

Too difficult to conceal

God is a smile

That will last awhile

God is the blessing

We count without stressing

God is the prayer

That shows He’s always there

God is in us

In God we trust

God is
