Someone

Someone began to pray

For a brighter day

Someone reached for a hand

As they learned to stand

Someone found something true

It felt like morning dew

Someone learned to care

And found something to share

Someone found solid ground

Then shared the joy they found

Someone found something real

What the heart can’t conceal

Someone gained strength

By talking with God at length

Someone heard a voice

As they began to rejoice

Someone embarked on a journey

Meant for them only

Someone took time

To remember their prime

Someone began to see

What’s truly meant to be

Someone went far

As they reached for a star

Someone saw their purpose

Rising to the surface

Someone learned to sit still

While accepting God’s will

Someone counted blessings

Instead of stressing

Someone fell and rose again

After learning to win

Someone got a second chance

Then did a victory dance

Someone found peace

They just couldn’t release

Someone let go

Of things they used to know

Someone acknowledged God

With a wink and nod

Someone shared some dreams

As strange as it seems

Someone

Better Days

We continue to pray

Cause it’s the only way

We learn to live

We learn to give

We keep our faith close

Cause faith matters most

We search for peace

We’ll never release

We take our time

To remember our prime

We learn as we go

We share what we know

We stand face to face

As we run our race

We cherish the voice

That makes us rejoice

We change our ways

As we prepare for better days

We find our purpose

Lying at the surface

We sit still

As we accept God’s will

We learn to stand

When we see God’s hand

We follow our guide

It fills us with pride

We see what’s true

We change our point of view

We change our ways

As we prepare for better days

Sometimes

Sometimes we pray

For a brighter day

Sometimes we search high and low

For what we used to know

Sometimes a story is told

While we search for a hand to hold

Sometimes we make clear

What we hold dear

Sometimes we go far

As we reach for a star

Sometimes our dreams

Make us burst at the seams

Sometimes we follow a light

We see day and night

Sometimes we share a love

Sent by heaven above

Sometimes we take a fall

But God answers our call

Sometimes we find purpose

Lying at the surface

Sometimes we let go of regret

As we give as good as we get

Sometimes we gain strength

By talking to God at length

Sometimes we start a new chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

Sometimes we hold hands

Right where love stands

Sometimes we lift one voice

As we begin to rejoice

Sometimes we find solid ground

Then share the joy we found

Sometimes we clearly see

What’s meant to be

Sometimes we search our hearts

As a new life starts

Sometimes we take a journey

Meant for two only

Sometimes

Behold

Behold a love so true

And what God brought you through

Behold your destiny

Cause it’s meant to be

Behold the gentle voice

That makes you rejoice

Behold the tender touch

That means so much

Behold the journey

Meant for you only

Behold the prayer

That shows God is there

Behold the grace

Found in a special place

Behold the hand

You see where you stand

Behold the solid ground

As you share the joy you found

Behold the purpose

You see lying at the surface

Behold the wandering eyes

And the beautiful surprise

Behold some better days

As you change your ways

Behold
