We feel the pain

Without knowing what we’ll gain

The pain is a lesson

That will lead to a confession

The pain offers direction

And plenty of reflection

It works on the mind

In its purpose we’ll find

The pain will lead to strength

When we talk to God at length

The pain will let go

When we share what we know

The pain is difficult to conceal

It’s a scar that will heal

The pain rings true

To everything we do

The pain can be felt any time

It reminds us of our prime
