In The Rain

As we walk in the rain

We release all the pain

We look forward to love

Like heaven above

We count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

There’s nothing to fear

With God standing near

We hold each other close

Cause love matters most

And we see what we’ll gain

While walking in the rain

We begin to see

What’s truly meant to be

What we have is rare

Like tender loving care

Our bond fills every day

In a very special way

It plants seeds

That lead to good deeds

We can see the light

We follow day and night

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

And we see what we’ll gain

While walking in the rain

Falling Down

The man woke one day

He was presented a new way

What used to be was no more

Fate closed the door

It was hard to take

And impossible to fake

He lost what he knew

He had a new point of view

Things weren’t the same

He had a new name

The smile became a frown

And everything came falling down

The man had a love

Sent from heaven above

He embraced every journey

Meant for Him only

He went far

He developed a scar

He learned some lessons

They became confessions

The smile became a frown

And everything came falling down

Til The End Of Time

We’ve gone through thick and thin

Faith taught us to win

Some thought we wouldn’t last

But we learned from the past

It’s taken unconditional love

From heaven above

To bring us here

Despite a little fear

God planted the seed

For a very good deed

We’ll love in our prime

Til the end of time

We hold each other close

Cause our bond matters most

Nothing can compare

To what we share

We’ve embarked on a journey

Meant for us only

It gets sweeter every day

I wouldn’t have it any other way

Right or wrong

We know where we belong

Our hearts reveal

What we know we can’t conceal

We’ll love in our prime

Til the end of time

Peaceful Place

Let’s find a peaceful place

Filled with guidance and grace

We’ll learn to love

Like heaven above

We’ll follow our guiding light

Both day and night

Every moment will be pure

Make us feel secure

We’ll find solid ground

We’ll turn our lives around

And find something to hold

A treasure worth more than gold

Let’s find a peaceful place

Away from the rat race

We’ll sit and pray

We’ll cherish every day

Our God given purpose

Will rise to the surface

We’ll let go of fear

Praise our God standing near

We’ll share what we know

Our hearts will grow

And we’ll enjoy our space

In a peaceful place
