Food For Thought
Food For Thought
Sometimes we have to thank God for what didn’t happen.
It Is
It is time to pray
It is time to cherish the day
It is a journey
Meant for us only
It is easy to find
Peace of mind
It is God’s will
So lets sit still
It is solid ground under our feet
That’s where faith and God meet
It is a sign from God
Give Him a wink and nod
It is about time
We remember our prime
It is a place
Filled with God’s grace
It is a cup
That God will fill up
It is a hand to hold
As our story is told
It is a seed
That turns into a good deed
It is a heart
That knows where to start
It is
One Moment
One moment can change a day
One moment can change a way
One moment can be real
One moment can reveal
One moment can provide peace
That we’ll never release
One moment can move
And it can prove
One moment can stand
As we hold God’s hand
One moment can grow
As we share what we know
One moment can be free
It can make us see
One moment can plant seeds
That lead to good deeds
One moment can please
As well as ease
One moment can last
It can past
One moment

The Lesson
The lesson appears in what you do
It allows God’s word to shine through
It travels very far
Without leaving a scar
It shows you a way
To cherish every day
The life lesson
Can become a heartfelt confession
It can move right along
It will keep you strong
The lesson is something pure
It will make you feel secure
It is the voice
That will make you rejoice
It will offer you peace
You won’t want to release
The lesson is the hand of God
Give Him a wink and nod
It’s something to share
Just like tender loving care
It’s a perfect place
Filled with God’s grace
It’s the journey
Meant for you only
So make a confession
About the lesson
Everlasting
God fills every day
He provides every way
He fills every soul
He makes life whole
He is a source of strength
When we talk with Him at length
He offers something pure
He makes us feel secure
He is the light
We follow day and night
His love is for the asking
And it’s everlasting
God removes our fears
He wipes our tears
He offers a place
Filled with guidance and grace
He grants blessings
We count without stressing
He sees us through
No matter what we do
He offers solid ground
No matter who’s around
He’s one of a kind
He offers peace of mind
His love is for the asking
And it’s everlasting
