From a distance

We see heaven above

We feel God’s love

We gain strength

As we talk to Him at length

We see a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We see our purpose

Rise to the surface

We hold each other close

Cause our bond matters most

We share every journey

Meant for us only

We find a way

To cherish every day

We start a new chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

From a distance

We find peace

We’ll never release

We embrace every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

We see where we stand

As we hold God’s hand

We say a silent prayer

Thanking God for being there

We find something pure

It makes us feel secure

We see the lessons

That lead to confessions

We hear the voice

That makes us rejoice

We go through the fire

To obtain what we desire

We can finally see

What’s truly meant to be

We follow the light

That shines day and night

We learn to let go

Of things we used to know

We remember who we are

As we reach for a star

And with little resistance

We see things from a distance

God will never leave your side.

God is always with you.

All the colors we see

Show how life can be

Colors carry us through

They show what God can do

They fill every day

In a very special way

They fill the soul

They make life whole

They teach life lessons

That lead to heartfelt confessions

They help us stand

As we hold God’s hand

They appear during every journey

They’re made for us only

They help us heal

They know what to reveal

They set things in stone

They never leave us alone

Colors are what we hold

They’re a story untold

They’re all we know

They’re how we grow

They stand on principles

As God performs small miracles

They take the time

To remember our prime

They remember moments good and bad

They can make us glad

They can rejoice

When they hear God’s voice

They offer solid ground

They can share the joy we found

They are the power

We feel hour after hour

They help us stand still

As we accept God’s will

They offer affection

And plenty of protection

Colors

We see the rising sun

It represents a new day

As we accept God’s way

The sun’s rays are true

They show how we made it through

They offer a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We lift every voice

As we begin to rejoice

We have a second chance

So we do a victory dance

We’ll embark on another journey

Ordained by God only

We’ll learn life lessons

That will become confessions

Everyone can see

This moment is meant to be

We listen to God’s word

It’s the best we’ve heard

It keeps us strong

Whether we’re right or wrong

We see the rising sun

It’s a beautiful sight

It’s like a guiding light

Our naysayers we ignore

As God fills us to the core

We learn to reveal

What our hearts can conceal

We let go of fear

Cause we know God is near

We talk to God

Give Him a wink and nod

God loves us unconditionally

He works consistently

Solid ground we find

It offers peace of mind

The sun offers something pure

It makes us feel secure

We see a new day

We find a better way

We let go of shame

We remember our name

When we see the rising sun

Put God first and He will present you with opportunities you don’t have to compete for and open doors no man can shut.

God knows you are tired. He knows you are trying. Put Him first. Trust Him. He will make a way.

God fills every day

In His own special way

He stands on principles

As he performs small miracles

He gives me strength

Whenever we talk at length

He fills my soul

He makes me whole

He’s part of every journey

Meant for me only

I ignore my naysayers

As I say my prayers

God makes me see

What’s truly meant to be

He is the light

I follow day and night

He gives me peace

I’ll never release

I look at heaven above

And I give Him love

With all my heart and soul

When I wake

He knows how much I can take

He keeps me strong

Whether I’m right or wrong

He removes fear and doubt

As He works things out

I cherish every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

God is the power

I feel hour after hour

Whenever I fall

He answers my call

I always rejoice

When I hear His voice

His powerful word

Is the best I’ve heard

He’s a sight to behold

He’s a story untold

And as I look at heaven above

I give Him love

With all my heart and soul

Holding your hand

Right where you stand

Feeling your warm embrace

As we move from place to place

Praying with you

Seeing how we made it through

Having something to hold

Our love story being told

Knowing God has a plan

He’ll reveal when He can

Removing all doubt

As God works things out

Being filled to the core

God offering us more

Learning how to live

Learning how to give

Counting our blessings

As we learn to stop stressing

Looking in each other’s eyes

Only to find a wonderful surprise

Cherishing every day

In our own special way

Sitting perfectly still

As we bask in God’s will

Looking up to see

We’re meant to be

Standing on solid ground

Sharing the joy we found

Learning to rejoice

When we hear God’s voice

Loving each other better

Loving life to the letter

Finding perfect peace

We’ll never release

Faith keeping us close

Cause faith matters most

Taking our time

To remember our prime

Giving as good as we get

With very little regret

Watching our love grow

Sharing what we know

Makes us sing

Cause tender moments mean everything

God is bigger than what you’re facing.
