I’ve been through the fire

Down to the wire

I’ve been shamed

I’ve been defamed

I’ve been scorned

I’ve had my heart torn

At a very high cost

Became a confession

But God’s been there

I follow my guiding light

As I kneel in prayer

I feel God’s presence everywhere

It’s something warm and pure

It makes me feel secure

I gain strength as needed

And see where I succeeded

I see the next day

In a different way

My purpose is clear

As ordained by God only

I see my power

Manifesting every hour

I see solid ground

I see joy can be found

I see where God stands

When we hold hands

I see greatness at the core

And I long to do more

I cherish every sight

God is real. Trust Him.

Put God first and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Some think I’m rude

Some think I’m crude

Some think I’m shy

And don’t understand why

Some think I’m quiet

And wouldn’t cause a riot

Some think my power

Comes hour upon hour

Some say I talk too much

And lack a tender touch

While some think I fear

Some think I waste time

And forget about my prime

But God was there from my inception

And all this is perception

Dream is what you do most
