Wait until you see why God made you wait.

Faith means everything.

We embraced a journey

We thought was for us only

We saw things we didn’t recognize

Things that took us by surprise

We kept looking with curiosity

We wondered what was meant to be

We fell then rose again

Before realizing faith helped us win

We faced many naysayers

Before we said our prayers

We searched for a home

Where our souls could roam

Before God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We felt weak

Until we heard God speak

God revealed our purpose

Before it rose to the surface

We learned to stand

As we held God’s hand

We grappled with doubt

Until God worked things out

We grappled with fear

Before God held us near

We ran from place to place

Until God offered mercy and grace

We learned to smile

We laughed a little while

We found new dreams

Strange as it seems

We kept going

All while knowing

An answered prayer

Shows God is there

We felt God’s power

Hour after hour

We searched high and low

For what would help us grow

Until God turned us around

Put us on solid ground

We found our guiding light

One we follow day and night

We changed our view

When we saw what God can do

God filled our core

Before offering us more

Cause we were lost then found

When I found you

I found true love

As it stands in heaven above

I found perfect peace

My heart won’t release

I found my divine purpose

Lying at the surface

Love turned me around

Put me on solid ground

I found a home

Where my soul can roam

I found all the dreams

That make me burst at the seams

I found moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

I found my voice

Before I began to rejoice

I gained some strength

As we talked at length

I found the journey

Meant just for me only

I found a place

Filled with mercy and grace

And I found a new way

To celebrate every day

When I found you

I found a beating heart

That shows me where to start

I found the path God set

One I follow with no regret

I found what’s meant for me

Things that are meant to be

I found what’s in stone

God never leaves me alone

I found what heals my soul

What makes me whole

I found your hand

Right where you stand

I found a kiss

I simply can’t resist

I found what fills my core

Before I ask for more

I found what fills every chapter

With joy and laughter

I found where life begins

How faith always wins

When I found you

Waiting isn’t just about what we get at the end of the wait. It’s about who you become in the waiting.

Ruth in the Bible went from gleaning in the filed to owning the field. Don’t underestimate how far God can turn things around.

Don’t worry. You are covered by God.

God doesn’t want what’s good for you. God wants what’s best for you.

God has a blessing with your name on it.

We face all our days

We cherish God’s loving ways

We see our divine purpose

Lying at the surface

We relish perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

We stand on solid ground

We share the joy we found

Faith fills our core

Before God offers us more

We see life lessons learned

All the stripes we’ve earned

We stand on the wings of love

As we look at heaven above

We rest at home

Where our souls can roam

We stay on the path God set

Without an ounce of regret

We share a kind word

That deserves to be heard

We travel far

As God heals every scar

We follow the light

That shines day and night

We watch God move

We have nothing to prove

We move without a doubt

That things will work out

We learn to smile

We laugh a little while

We look straight ahead

Without any dread

Cause God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We run our race

In a safe and secure place

We embrace the journey

Meant just for us only

We start all over again

Cause with faith we win

We get much stronger

As our journey gets longer

We see what’s in stone

God never leaves us alone

God is always there

Through the power of prayer
